Art is a mirror. It is a mirror not only for the artist, but for the art lover too.
As I started this painting, my mind was filled with soo many bleak thoughts, about things that I just could not change. It started as type of a self portrait, with all those gloomy experiences that linger in my mind as details. With time however, my perspective changed, for the better. At first, even the light that is making this world depicted shine was a negative, perhaps explosion, perhaps a fire. Now I know what it is, at least for myself. Balance, love, peace, they all shine brighter than any fire, but you have to burn down these vast forests to see it, so take your time.
The world is already a dark place as it is, take care of yourself, spread love, be loved.

To be insatiable is both a blessing and a curse. To always be hungry is to never be full. I think. In a way this insatiability gives a person purpose, but takes away the joy of fulfilment. In my eyes, to overcome that you need to fall in love with the process of whatever you do, otherwise, when you reach the highest rooftop, one above the clouds, one you couldn’t even see before, all that will be in your mind is how to reach the moon.

To be honest, I did not think too much of what I will be painting, this piece sort of made itself.
This work was done on an old acrylic painting which I happened to like, painting over it reminded me to let go and embrace change, perhaps become a little better?
The timing couldn’t have been better too, not too long ago i quit nicotine, at the end of this month I’m leaving to serve in the military, so life’s doing a sort of 360 now.

I felt lonely, lost, all around not myself when I started this painting, but in the process, not only did I, little by little, was feeling more confident with my current situation, but so looked the being that’s portrayed.
It is very interesting for me to see, how the painting unconsciously becomes different when I feel different things.

Immanuel Kant said that the purpose of the artist is not to copy the nature, but to create it. To create something, that rules don’t for-see.
I agree, just copying nature is outdated, I think we must understand that nature is a part of us, we must learn from nature
The mind, just like flowers, can be all over the place, it can be hard to concentrate on something, hard to be happy. The mind, however, just like flowers, blooms, forgetting the petals of past, growing new ones, possibly prettier then the petals of the past.
Nature teaches us, how natural our emotions are. It’s okay to be sad, it’s okay to feel emotions, even flowers, if they could feel would be sad sometimes.
This painting acts as a reminder to me, that when the mind is scattered, all you can do is prepare for it to bloom, brighter than before.
